Ludovisi battle sarcophagus
Both pieces are in the high-relief technique. Unlike the sarcophagus from the Getty, the Ludovisi Battle Sarcophagus depicts a less peaceful scene of a battle. In that piece, there is a mass of figures with no accurate story being told. Meanwhile, both scenes portray figures in the nude form. There are also animals on the bottom of each tomb that may suggest they were meant to protect the body in the afterlife.
